In May 2023, a significant power outage hit Wajir Town, Kenya, when Kenya Power & Lighting Company’s off-grid power plant experienced equipment failure. ENCOMM POWER, known for its expertise in power solutions, swiftly responded to the crisis by designing, mobilizing, installing, and commissioning a new 2.4MW diesel power plant within just seven days. Solution

To address the urgent need for power, ENCOMM POWER implemented a 2.4MW (11KV) diesel power plant. The solution included two Caterpillar 3512B gensets, each rated at 1,500 kVA, along with ancillary equipment to ensure continuous power supply to the grid.

Implementation
